A
SATOSHELL-400 series is nitrogen free two part
phenolic No-Bake system. It is a much faster system as compared to 3 part
alkyd system and also cheaper in price. The sand with low acid demand value
is recommended for better results. 2% resin (BOS) is recommended with 30
to 40% Catalyst (BOR). This system gives excellent hot strength and reduces
scabbing. This is used for making large steel castings where high hot strength
and low gas is required.Resin percentage depends on quality of sand & can be as low as 0.8 % .Sand can be easily reclaimed.
