PHENOLIC URETHANE (SATOSHELL 500)

SUPER FAST NO-BAKE SYSTEM: This system is a three part liquid binder system consisting of Phenolic Resin, Isocynate and Accelerator. Accelerator is normally premixed with Phenolic Resin. The use of continuous mixer in place of conventional muller ensures accurate working, of the system. The recommended % age addition is 1 % each of Binder I & II (BOS), with 5% accelerator (BOR).
Work time is 75% of strip time. Work time varies from 5 minutes to as high as 15 minutes. The cores and moulds prepared can be poured after two to four hours. Very high productivity and high tensile strength are the added advantages of this system.
It can be used with all types of sand. The sand must be dry and free of clay. Water base washes are recommended for better surface finish.Sand can be easily reclaimed.
